Sixth edition of the European Congress of SMEs is the best proof that business language is a universal language. During the three days of the event in Katowice, business owners, innovators, and social entrepreneurs talked about the present and the future of the economy of Silesia, Poland and the Europe.
Event brought approximately 7,000 registered participants, hundreds of foreign visitors, more than 80 thematic sessions and 120 exhibitors at Business Expo. Deliberations included the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Glinski, Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Adam Bodnar, Jerzy Buzek and many other ministers, ambassadors, consuls, representatives of the European Commission, several mayors, experts from the country and abroad. People from the world of media, business and science.
The event was organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, the host city of Katowice, and co-hosted by the Silesian Province Governor, Silesia Vovoideship, Malopolska Vovoideship and Silesia Metropolis.
During the three days of the congress the number of applicants exceeded the number of seats. Among the most popular sessions were panels about IT, especially ones by technology giants from the US: Facebook and Google. A lot of participants also attended the session devoted to cosmic sector in Poland.
7th SMEs Congress will take place next year.
